los fotos

Finally some time to post some pictures! They are a bit out of order, so let me explain...
(sorry I couldn't figure out how to get the descriptions next to the picture....the blog and I are having trouble being friends this trip)
1. The farming project (here we were breaking big coal pieces with wood)
2. A nice pic of Bryce at the Feeding Center in Nueva Vida
3. Jordan and Wills carrying kids on their backs through Vera Cruz (the town around the orphanage)
4. The kids are playing a game of Duck Duck Goose!
5. Jenny (Kevin and Leslie this one's for you. We found Jenny and her mom and gave her your card! Her mom asked about Harper :-))
6. A group shot after the work project. If you look close, we are all covered in coal.

  8. You guys have already done such cool stuff!! The work project sounds great and I'm sure the field trip was awesome. Thanks so much for passing that card onto Jeinny. I'm glad you all got to see her and give her a hug for us. Looking at the pictures and reading about your adventures makes us miss not only you, but the people in Nicaragua that we have come to love. You are doing great work!!

P.S. Taylor Mary--how did you manage to do all that work with coal and not get a bit on your WHITE shirt?? :)

  9. Springbranch Family,
I sense that God is smiling as you represent him to the people of Nicaragua! You are tangible evidence that in Christ, NO ONE is an orphan!
Thank you for showing them that they are a part of a permanent family.

  10. This is from Mama Saal who is out in the woods in a cabin and can't comment on the computer.

She is checking the blog daily from the tiny library in Story and she's thinking about you all.

  11. Natalie. Thank you for writing on the blog. It's so cool to hear all the wonderful things you all are doing. Loved the pics.
We were only able to get to a computer twice while in Maine. A nice man yesterday who owned a restaurant we were in let me use his personal computer to check the blog. He was excited to hear about the wonderful group of kids you all are. Miss you Jess but I know your having a great time. I don't think you need to bring that shirt home though.....
Chris. Still keeping your mouth closed in the shower?
Love and blessings to you all.
